ICA Periscope/Lantern/Marquee references an earlier work, Functional House, a site-specific installation created with Bob Jones that altered architectural space with mirrors. In true Tony May fashion, this work serves several purposes -- it is a periscope with a view of the outside from the inside, a lantern at night, and a marquee, dramatically altering the facade of the building.
